- 2 cups (272g) AP flour
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp salt
- white petter
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup (118g) hot water
Roux
Instructions
Dough
- mix flour, sugar, salt, pepper and oil
- add hot water
- knead for 5 mins, dough + bowl + hand needs to be smooth
Rest dough for 1h
Making roux
- in a sauce pan
- cook until flour doesn't feel raw
- stir all the time
